My first night in my new home in Basse, The Gambia.
No water. No power (eventually came back on, though only to stay for less than two hours).
My flashlight happened to catch the corner of my room when I was passing through. I thought, that's odd, I don't think I have black floors. I looked more closely to find the above mess of ants streaming down from the ceiling and laying eggs in my corner.
Grateful to kind neighbors who help you exterminate!
