This is a short video of my boss, the amazing Ansou Kambaye, made a few years back when he was the Assistant to the Naional Coordinator.
Ansou has worked for Tostan for 14 years now! He started at the very bottom as a facilitator and worked his way up through the ranks being promoted to supervisor, then assistant to the national coordinator, and now as the National Coordinator for Tostan- The Gambia! He was apart of the originally team that brought Tostan to The Gambia, helping to open the national and regional office here. He speaks over 6 languages and is extremely hard working and dedicated to the Tostan approach. He even hosts a radio show twice weekly, in two different languages, that's broadcasted throughout the Upper River Region (even gets into neighboring countries) on human rights, health and hygiene, and other topics from Tostan's module.
I am very honored and excited to be working with Ansou and look forward to learning as much as I can from him over the coming year!
